<span style="font-family: UICTFontTextStyleTallBody; font-size: 17px; -webkit-text-size-adjust: auto;">Emanuela Ascari présentera le travail qu’elle développe durant sa résidence à Utopiana (Genève) en même temps que les résultats du workshop qu’elle a mené samedi 2 juillet. Il s’agit de chromatographies circulaires, réalisées à travers un procédé de laboratoire au nitrate
d’argent, qui révèle les forces vitales de la terre et l’harmonie des éléments qui la caractérisent. Se demandant ce qui peut être considéré comme « terre » dans une ville et quelles seraient les différentes caractéristiques et degrés de vie que peuvent avoir les terrains aux bordures des routes et des immeubles, Emanuela a prélevé divers échantillons de sol et
en a extrait l’essence à travers le procédé de la chromatographie. Chaque participant au workshop a pu apporter des échantillons de sols prélevés dans des endroits de leur choix, qui ont été également analysés. </span><br style="font-family: UICTFontTextStyleTallBody; font-size: 17px; -webkit-text-size-adjust: auto;" />

Emanuela Ascari, our resident artist will present the work she developed during her residency in Geneva together with the results of the workshop she conducted Saturday, July 2. These are circular chromatographies, produced through a laboratory process with silver nitrate, which reveals the vital forces of the earth and the harmony of the elements that characterize it. Wondering what can be considered "earth" in a city and what the different
characteristics and degrees of life we may found at the edges of roads and buildings, Emanuela has taken various soil samples and extracted their essence through the chromatography process. Each participant in the workshop was able to bring soil samples in areas of their choice, which were also analyzed. The chromatographies of the artist and of the workshop’s participant will be presented. </div>
