artistic research project "the animal who I am (following)" questions
the work of creation with or for non-human animals within the art of
performance. This research therefore challenges the very place of
performance art, the very act of creation, its spaces and temporalities,
the Internet included, as well as the autorate, the technological and
procedural modalities of communication and creation with animals, the
conditions for sharing with a public. In order to bring out
possibilities and refine speculations, the ethical and aesthetic
explorations of this proposal will be anchored in the writings and
interventions of thinkers in performance art and animal sciences while
being enriched by the practice of doers, artists, technicians and
ethologists. The specificity of this inter-species research also
requires a series of technological and performance experiments.
Therefore will be invited: animals, ethologists, trainers, European
research groups on interspecies communication and creation, a hypnosis
practitioner, performers, machines, a hacker, Internet spaces, spaces
with a strong animal dominance specific to Japan, famous cats on the
Internet.</span></span><br><br><br></div></div></span></div>
