<p><strong>C</strong><strong>HORNOBYL Forum Guidelines</strong></p>
<p>The CHRNBL International Forum is dedicated to the impact of Chernobyl on humanity and its rethinking today. The forum will be held simultaneously in 11 countries, with the support of the Ukrainian Cultural Foundation, and will bring together more than 50 international and Ukrainian experts to a new international communication platform.</p>
<p>Disaster Liquidators, scientists, experts and representatives of state and cultural institutions of Ukraine, USA, Canada, Finland, Germany, Great Britain, the Netherlands, France, Greece, Slovenia and the Czech Republic will meet in October at CHRNBL FORUM. The purpose of the forum is to study the issues of environment, sustainability, media literacy, social, cultural and economic problems bawed on the example of Chernobyl.</p>
<p>Responding to the challenges of COVID19, CHRNBL FORUM is technologically adapted for even conditions under lockdown.<br />The forum will be held from October 6 to 10, 2021, in the format of live broadcasts and online discussions, with a recording of the event from the studio in Kyiv and synchronus translation.<br />The forum program will be complemented by an interactive exhibition CHRNBL in a proper anti-COVID format, based on the mobile application that will take place simultaneously in 11 countries.</p>
<p>Thanks to the online format, the options for participation in the Forum can be different and adapted over time, taking into account your availability.<br />Each of the 5 days of CHRNBL FORUM will be a separate thematic panel, lasting 4 hours each, from 12:00 to 16:00 Kyiv time (EEST).</p>

<p>1. 30 minute speech + 15 minutes Q&A<br />The speech can be pre-recorded in Kyiv or online, at a time convenient for you, in order to reduce the risk of technical failures.<br />Answers to questions during the forum should be in the online format in order to be able to interact with the audience.</p>
<p>2. Presentation of your own research and project 15 minutes + 10 minutes Q&A<br />The speech can be pre-recorded in Kyiv or online, at a time convenient for you, in order to reduce the risk of technical failures.<br />Answers to questions during the forum should be in the online format in order to be able to interact with the audience.</p>
<p>3. Live discussion during the forum at a pre-arranged time on a specific topic<br />We connect you to an online discussion at a specific time, for live communication. We broadcast live and record the event.</p>
<p>4. Video comment to the discussion on a particular topic 3-5 minutes<br />The video comment can be recorded in advance in Kyiv or online, at a time convenient for you, in order to reduce the risk of technical failures.</p>
<p>5. Interviews in text format for Ukrainian and international media<br />We send you questions on a specific topic, you answer in text, send photos, we approve the material before publication.</p>
<p>6. In addition, it is possible to host an interactive exhibition CHRNBL in your institution<br />This is a modern interactive exhibition with augmented reality, which is implemented on the basis of the mobile application CHRNBL and works by pointing the app at the printed posters.<br />To hold it, it is enough to place posters in a room accessible to the audience or in the open air, or even place a virtual exhibition on your own website (we provide a link).<br />Each visitor downloads the application and follows the instructions of the exhibition, which includes information and art exhibits on the topic of Chernobyl.<br />The exhibits provide an opportunity to visit Chernobyl virtually, take photos with monuments, get acquainted with historical documents, museum exhibits and works of contemporary Ukrainian artists.</p>
<p>7. You can become a Partner of the Forum and hold it online in your country<br />The partnership in the forum includes:<br />- Participation in the forum of 4 experts from your institution. Active involvement of experts online from 6 to 10 October during the forum. Or preparation for participation in advance in a convenient format.<br />- Conducting an info campaign dedicated to the promotion and discussion of the Forum. We provide 15 thematic materials for placement on social media and on the website of your institution, which will prepare your audience for the topics of the Forum. You may need to adjust the translation of the site materials and the exhibition into the local language.<br />- Conducting an interactive exhibition CHRNBL in your institution, for the minimum format it is enough to place posters and give the audience access to them. The exhibition is held in anti-COVID format with respect to quarantine restrictions.</p>
