die installation bulbes besteht aus klingenden glühbirnen. es entsteht eine audio-visuelle komposition, in der melodiöse und rhythmische strukturen mit den helligkeitsveränderungen durch den raum wandern.

in kurzen videofilmen werden einfache physikalische experimente in form spannender kurzgeschichten gezeigt. die inszenierungen physikalischer phänomene mit alltäglichen gegenständen ist eine antithese zu medientypischen inhalten, zum sekundenschnitt und der bilderflut des fernsehens.

das 'labor für musik:theater' arbeitet öffentlich an dem environment 'die schachtel'. entwickelt wird ein system von verschachtelungen, in dem musiker, performer und publikum, klang- und videoinstallationen, bildprojektionen und architektur anhand eines regelwerks miteinander kommunizieren.

|__ die schachtel__di 20:00 h: die von kara feely und travis just entworfene performance-installation 'L shaped, not more than 7 feet high' besteht aus: aufnahmen, in denen leute von räume reden, die sie lange nicht gesehen haben und aufnahmen sich ändernder umgebungsgeräusche.
|__ die schachtel__mi 20:00 h: in der ausstellung zeigt anton lukoszevieze seine neue videoarbeit; vielleicht baut er eine box.
|__ die schachtel__mi 21:00 h: in 'schrödingers katze' ulf otto wiederholt das von schrödinger entworfene denk-experiment. der professor der physik prof dr. robert schmidt begibt sich in eine kiste. er wird ein interview geben und fragen beantworten, was als videostream über das internet gesendet wird.

der heutige tesla salon widmet sich der frage, ob der klub bei tesla ein raum der stille sein soll oder eine musikalische untermalung wünschenswert ist. carsten seiffarth erörtert mit gästen vor- und nachteile und bringt musikalische beispiele aus seinem plattenkoffer mit.

|__antje vowinckel: call me yesterday, rne/cdmc madrid 2005 mit unterstützung der filmstiftung NRW.

eigentümliche satzmelodien, facettenreiches rauschen, didaktisches pathos und vor allem die fehlende alltagsnähe machen die sprache zu einer musik, die niemand gewollt hat und die gerade deswegen so faszinierend klingt. sprachkursplatten und -kasetten sind das material dieser klangkomposition.

the 'labor für musik:theater' is working publicly on the environment 'die schachtel' (the box). a system of stacking will be developed in which musicians, performers and public as well as sound and video installations, projections and architecture communicate with each other through a regulator.

|__ die schachtel__di 20:00 h: kara feely and travis just's perfomance-installation, 'L shaped, not more than 7 feet high', consists of mutliple audio recordings of people talking about rooms they haven't been in in a long time as well as recordings of changing environmental sounds.
|__ die schachtel__mi 20:00 h: in his new exhibition anton lukoszevieze will be presenting recent video work.
|__ die schachtel__mi 21:00 h: in 'schröndingers katze,' ulf otto repeats the vienese physicist's famous thought-experiment by locking professor der physik prof dr. robert schmidt in a box. professor schmidt is then to conduct and interview and elucidating question and answer session from inside, with his statements being broadcast as a videostream over the internet.

peculiar sentence melodies, multifaceted noises, didactical pathos and above all the disconnection from everyday life turn language into a music that nobody intended and therefore sounds so fascinating. language records and tapes are the material of this sound composition.
