time's up remixed II - der apparat oder objekt und begierde
performance programm
mit einem begleitenden performance programm nimmt time's up bezug auf die thematischen schwerpunkte seines projektes: die einzelnen slots begreifen sich analog zum open workspace auch als offene einladung und bieten somit die möglichkeit, auf den aktuellen stand der open lab situation zu reagieren.
derek holzer: soundcontainer / klangübertragung
in seiner stark raumbezogenen installativen arbeit beschäftigt sich derek holzer mit der konservierung und übertragung von klang. dabei fasziniert ihn die möglichkeit, soundpartikel konzentriert auf ein objekt für die nächsten 100 jahre sicher verwahren und diese gleichzeitg grenzenlos über radiowellen an jeden punkt des raumes verteilen zu können.

wessel westerveld / viljam nybacka: sound by sculpture
sound by sculpture ist ein installatives instrument, das den zuschauer mit auf eine reise durch die welt der mechanik nimmt. alle sounds werden von kleinen maschinen erzeugt und die so generierten samples live mit switchboard und audiomixer gespielt. für diese performance kooperiert wessel westerveld mit dem finnen viljam nybacka und dessen präpariertem bass.

performance program
time's up offers an accompanying performance program which reflects the thematic focal points of the project: in line with the open workspace, the single slots are also an open invitation, creating the opportunity to respond to the current state of the open lab situation.
derek holzer: soundcontainer / klangübertragung
in his very spatially-engaged installation work, derek holzer deals with the conservation and transmission of sound. he is fascinated by the possibility to safely store sound particles concentrated on an object for the next 100 years, while simultaneously distributing the particles to every point of the space via radio waves.

wessel westerveld / viljam nybacka: sound by sculpture
sound by sculpture is an installative intrument, which takes the viewer on a journey through the world of mechanics. all of the sounds are generated by small machines, and the resulting samples are played back live, using a switchboard and an audio mixer. for this performance, wessel westerveld works in cooperation with the finnish viljam nybacka and his prepared bass.
