linux audio conference zu gast bei t e s l a
die 5th international linux audio conference (lac) findet vom 22. bis 25. märz 2007 in berlin statt. veranstalter ist die technische universität berlin. die konferenz zeigt einmal pro jahr bedeutende entwicklungen zum thema musizieren mit linux und freier software.
im t e s l a werden an zwei abenden die preisträger des lac-wettbewerbes präsentiert: werke international renommierter künstler, die allesamt mit hilfe freier software komponiert wurden.
vor dem konzert am freitag bietet sich in unmittelbarer nachbarschaft, nämlich im instituto cervantes in der rosenstraße, die gelegenheit, ein weiteres konzert im rahmen der lac zu besuchen: neben stücken von sergio luque und edgar barroso wird eine live performance von recursive dog vorgestellt.

linux audio conference at t e s l a
the 5th international linux audio conference (lac) is taking place in berlin from march 22nd through the 25th, 2007. the annual conference, organized by the technical university of berlin, demonstrates important developments in music making with linux and free software. on two evenings at t e s l a , the winners of the lac competition will be presented: all works were composed by internationally reknowned artists using free software.
before the concert on friday, another lac concert will take place at the instituto cervantes in the nearby rosenstraße: in addition to pieces by sergio luque and edgar barroso, there will be a live performance by recursive dog.
