ABOUT THE OPEN SESSION
Do you have a "thing" you would like to show to the other
participants at the Critical Computing Conference?
The Critical Computing Conference participants are invited to bring
"things" to show during the Open Session. This session is an
un-refereed session that welcomes traditional demonstrations of
software/hardware systems, cardboard construction kits and other
design artefacts; or other "things" you think could be relevant.
Showing something in the Open Session can be planned in advance, or
it can be done spontaneously if you, during the first days of the
conference, realize that you have carried something with you that has
become relevant.
The Open Session will take place on Tuesday between lunch and coffee.
The conference provides a number of tables, power outlets, WiFi and
possibly poster boards. However, we do not guarantee the
availablility of any of these or other resources.
To enable at least some overview of the Open Session we provide an
announcement board where each "demonstration" is briefly described on
a special form with a number corresponding to a sign posted in the
room where the demonstrations takes place.
For your "thing" to be included in the Open Session, simply bring it,
and then fill in the special form available at the registration desk.
If you already know that you want to have a "thing" to exhibit in the
open session please notify us right away by sending an email to
demos at aarhus2005.org so that we have an idea about the resources we
should aim to provide for the session.
