i think lessig is coherent, seen from his juristic point of view, but
bettinas arguments have to be taken serious in media society.
law favours drm. an argumentation flowing only existing law is maybe not the
best strategy. not obeying copyright law is a mass sport. lessig is wrong in
judging that DRM has become ubiquitous. right now it has nearly no impact
on many peoples live. so i think its a good idea to boost resistance and
disobeying practices as long as this is possible. the time to talk about
nice drm has yet to come.
mabe it would be interesting to have a discussion between lessig and the
swedish pirates of piratpyran here.
