[wos] meeting on wos-future after wos4

Dear all,

there is the desire from various sides to have a post-wos4 meeting on
the future of wos. This is not primarily intended for generating a
check-list of practical organisational matters. We'll do that as well
but with a few days distance to wos4. This is intended for strategic
planning: will there be a wos5? Will it look like the previous ones?
Do we try to maintain the mixture of academic conference and
community meeting? Or will it be something like Dropping Knowledge or
Plenum ( http://kop.kein.org/plenum/ )? What's the organisation
structure behind it going to be? The programme council is one attempt
to change something here. How can it be improved?

This should take place while the experience of wos4 is still fresh
and bloody. On Sunday there will be four workshops in parallel. Not a
good idea to do the wos thing at the same time. What about Sunday
night? If the workshops end at 18:00 in Adlershof, we could meet up
for dinner in Mitte and talk about where to from here. I guess many
people will be leaving Berlin on Sunday night if not earlier.
Saturday night would be tough as well. Anybody a better idea?

best
Volker
