Jan 15th, 2006: Research Paper and Extended Abstracts Submission 
Jan 23rd, 2006: Proposals for Tutorials, Workshops, Panels and 
Demonstrations 
Feb 20th, 2006: Notification of acceptance: 
Mar 13th, 2006: Submission of final papers
The goal of OSS2006 is to provide an international forum where a 
diverse audience of OSS researchers and practitioners can come 
together to examine the culture, technology, and organization of OSS 
systems, work practices, development processes, community dynamics, 
tools and applications.

Conference topics include, but are not limited to:
- Software engineering perspectives on OSS development
- Social science perspectives on OSS development
- Studies of OSS deployment
- External perspectives and influences on OSS
