Dear all,

great news:

the NDR (Nort German broadcasting station, which is part of ARD, our
nationwide public broadcasting system) starts to use creative commons for two
of its shows.

This project will last 6 months, if it works fine, it'll continue.

Information about the NDR: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Norddeutscher_Rundfunk
Our website: www.ndr.de

The TV shows:
Extra 3, a political comdy show: http://www.ndr.de/extra3
Zapp, a critical media magazine: http://www.ndr.de/zapp
Selected clips from these shows will be released under cc

Link to our cc/NDR Special:
http://www1.ndr.de/ratgeber/technik/creativecommonsindex2.html (in German)
Link to the official press release:
http://www1.ndr.de/unternehmen/presse/pressemitteilungen/pressemeldungndr934.html
(in German)

The NDR takes the by-nc-nd licence. I know, little freedoms, but using cc is a
very big step for an institution like the NDR, it's a good start.

I read this list since quite a while but never introduced myself. So: My name
is Meike Richter, I work as a journalist (mostly for NDR, I was involved in
the project) and as a lecturer.

PS: Thank you John-Hendrik Weitzmann, Paul Keller and Eric Steuer for helping
with the project!

Cheers

Meike
