Eine Performance einzig für den Tastsinn

Von unseren 5 Sinnen erscheint der Tastsinn als eine
der am strengsten reglementierten Form der
Kommunikation und der Wahrnehmung unserer
Gesellschaft.

Diese Performance ist ein Versuch, eine Arbeit die nur
durch den Tastsinn wahrnehmbar ist, zu gestalten,
jenseits üblicher Konnotationen von Berührung.

Die Performance wird auf dem Körper des Besuchers
aufgeführt (Länge: 15-20 Minuten). Bitte melden Sie
sich im voraus an, um einen Termin zu vereinbaren und

Piece touchee, No 1:
a performance exclusively for the sense of touch

Being the interface:
Touch is the most strictly codified sense in our
society. This performance is an attempt at designing
work to be perceived only through the sense of
touch, beyond its usual connotations .

The piece will be performed on your body. (Duration
15 to 20 minutes). You will not be asked to be active.

Die Performer:

Kenji Ouellet (concept, performance):
 
Born in Quebec City, Canada, and now based in
Berlin,   Kenji Ouellet comes originally from the
music world,
being a trained classical pianist.
 (BA Music, Laval University, Quebec- MA Music
performance, City University of New York, NYC-
Magister, Digital Art, University for Applied Arts
in  Vienna ).His work includes fiction, experimental
and
dance films, performances and media concepts for
contemporary dance choreographies. (for more

Katharina Weinhuber (performance):

Katharina Weinhuber was born in Germany, graduated
from the Brückner University  in Linz in 2001 and
lives in Vienna. 
Since then she has been working as a performer, dancer
and choreographer. Artist in Residence, Impulstanz
