“Weil man sich die Stadt leisten kann” ist ein vielgehoertes und  
gelesenes Argument fuer den kurz-, mittel- oder langfristigen  
Standortwechsel zugunsten (?) Berlins.
Sehen Sie das auch so? Zum Beispiel: Wie wirkt sich diese Entwicklung  
auf die individuelle Lebensqualitaet und das kulturelle Leben der  
Stadt aus? Wie beeinflusst dieser Boom die Stadtplanung respektive  
den Immobilienmarkt? Et cetera.

In der Berlin Easy Jet – Roundtable Diskussion werden Vertreter aus  
Kunst, Kultur und dem oeffentlichem Leben den gegenwaertigen Trend  
des Zuzugs nach Berlin, aber auch Motivationen eines möglichen Wegzug  
hinterfragen, und sowohl Auswirkungen als auch Perspektiven  
hinsichtlich der Stadtentwicklung erörtern.

Wir laden Sie ein, Ihre Ansichten und Erfahrungen in die Diskussion  
einzubringen.

ORIGINALFASSUNG, eine Serie von Gesprächen und Diskussionen basiert  
eher auf einem Verständnis von Zusammenarbeit als auf Wettstreit,  
motiviert durch die Neugierde von Fremden oder Besuchern verschiedene  
Felder zu betreten – wie z. B. Wissenschaft, Musik, Architektur,  
Kunst, Tanz, Choreographie, Theater, Politik, Design, Medien,  
Wirtschaft, Journalistik. ORGINALFASSUNG ist ein Projekt von Geoff  
Garrison, Heimo Lattner, Oliver Baurhenn, Cecile Belmont und Angelika

“Because the city is affordable”, is the most frequent argument  
around for the short, medium, or long-term shift towards Berlin. Do  
you agree? What are the repercussions of this evolution on the  
individual’s quality of life and the feeling of collectiveness in the  
city? For instance, how does this boom actually influence the quality  
of life and the city’s cultural life? How does this boom influence  
city planning from the point of view of the property market? Et cetera.

Within the Berlin Easy Jet – roundtable-discussion representatives  
from art, culture and public life will analyse the consequences of  
these contemporary trends, and also discuss possible motivations for  
coming to Berlin or moving away, and consider the consequences this  
has on the city’s development now and in the future.

We invite you to enrich the discussion with your own opinions and  
experiences.

Berlin Easy Jet acts as a prelude. Marking the start of a series of  
talks and presentations following the motto: "FROM...TO..." – from

the curiosity of strangers or visitors to tap into different fields,  
such as science, music, architecture, art, dance, choreography,  
theater, film, politics, design,  media, economics, journalism.
