Das c-base reconstruction project (CPRP)
erforscht seit 1995 die unterhalb Berlin-Mitte
gelegene Raumstation c-base. Die
wissenschaftliche, kulturelle und
lebenspraktische Erschließung der Raumstation aus
der fernen Zukunft ist eine zeitlich und räumlich
unbegrenzte Exploration.

Mit freundlicher Unterstützung durch "we make
money not art" werden in Live-Präsentationen
folgende Arbeiten als Maßnahmen unorthodoxer
Technikfolgenabschätzung vorgestellt: "mtc -
multi touch console" (Igor, Ulrich von Zadow,
u.a.), "Mechanism-#1-War" (Saoirse Higgins, Simon
Schiessl), "Crucifix NG" (Elliott Malkin) und

Inspiriert vom Character-Design populärer
Computerspiele, Science-Fiction-Welten und
japanischer Manga-Universen erschafft Anna Gatjal
Landschaftsminiaturen und Statuen, die in der
zeitgenössischen Tradition des Urban Vinyls
stehen, von ihr aber mit klassischen
bildhauerischen Mitteln in ungesehene
Proportionen überführt werden. In dieser ersten
Berliner Werkschau zeigt die Künstlerin neben
ihren bildhauerischen Arbeiten in Kunststoff,
Aluminium und Marmor auch die Verbindung von
Skulptur- mit Videoarbeiten.

Vernissage Anna Gatjal solo exhibition "unlimited"
Inspired by popular character design from
computer games, science fiction worlds and
japanese manga universes Anna Gatjal creates
landscape diorama and statues, which are
referring to the contemporary style of Urban
Vinyl toys; though by using traditional
sculptoring techniques, she is transferring them
into unseen dimensions. Anna Gatjal's first
Berlin solo exhibition shows beneath her
sculptoring works in plastics, aluminium and
marble the crossing of sculptures and video
installations.
