The musical self-organisation strives towards the spontaneous appearance of new
structures and new behaviour patterns which are characterized by internal
feedback loops, in an open process that goes beyond equilibria.
These feedback loops make it possible to alter our view of reality: Causality
loses its specifying character, as cause and effect merge and exchange their
roles in the musical process.
A consideration of this music is that one cannot alter one factor in a system
without affecting all others.
