*Migrating Art Academies*
Mindaugas Gapsevicius & Sylvie Marchand. Project presentation

In summer 2012 the Migrating Art Academies (MigAA) project seeks for a
creative atmosphere in Kassel in parallel to Documenta. Art universities
are invited to think of POT as a “Plan for Optimal Tactic,” which could
be understood as an individual plan for whatever activities (or tactics)
might be offered.

*The Red Continent / Le Continent Rouge*
Sylvie Marchand. Project Presentation

The Red Continent is a complex project between Sylvie Marchand, Lionel
Camburet (FR) and Raramuri (MX). It was born after long term
ethnographic fieldwork and artistic research.

À mon avis c’est la cuisine. Surtout quand on est dans un autre pays.
Tout le monde mange, mais les alimentations sont très différentes. Le
système d’alimentation a construit culturellement dans l’histoire de
chaque pays. Donc la cuisine est une part très important dans la vie
culturelle.

Loris Chennebault

In a performance Loris Chennebault improvise with different sound
objects such as mechanical shells, a modified toy circuit and simple
recycled objects whose sound looks interesting. Sounds are processed in
real time with microphones and special software.
