After the recent New York attacks civil liberties
of immigrants, Arab Americans and all US citizens
are fundamentally threatened. Nation-wide grief
and fear are instrumentalized to get bills through
congress that give omni-powers to the government.
Presently, in the United States, Arab Americans loose their
jobs, are refused hospital treatment, are spit at, disappear,
and are even killed. Arab women are afraid to leave the house,
children don't dare to go to school.
Without loosing sight of foreign policy, and honoring the grief
of Americans- freedom of speech, freedom of assembly, freedom
of religion and freedom of movement should not be sacrificed
out of fear.
