220HEX and BEK presents a preview of the Freeze! project at Landmark may=20
21. Freeze! is a video-installation by Gisle Fr=F8ysland to be presented at=
=20
the same place later this year. The installation is based on a multi-camera=
=20
system for realtime video-treatments in a Linux-based network. The software=
=20
engine for the project is developed by BEK in collaboration with programmer=
=20
Carlo Prelz, and will be further developed as open source towards a=20
multi-purpose tool for live video under Linux. The session at Landmark is=20
the first public presentation of the project.
Gisle Fr=F8ysland does live Freeze!-variations and dj Anders G. spins a mix=
=20
of ambient elektronika and fluffy grooves.
