	23 - 25 October 2003

	Tilburg, The Netherlands

We are honoured to invite you to this exciting conference exploring issues
in international student and staff mobility in the arts!

A European League of Institutes of the Arts (ELIA) project in
collaboration with Fontys Hogeschool voor de Kunsten.

Call for interactive presentations

Art students, international relations officers and teachers are
invited to submit proposals for a practice-based workshop. Around 20 one
hour and ½ hour workshops are being planned. The proposal need not be more
than 200 words and should mention what the topic is and how it relates to an
international aspect of higher arts education. It could be anything starting
from the way the ideas or realisation of the work developed to collaboration
with other arts students or institutes to an international arts platform or
a method of teaching.

The proposal needs to mention what the method of presenting will be
and what equipment is needed. Preferably the presentation will have a way to
involve and engage the attention of other artists present: students,
teachers, international office staff and heads of school.

Eight grants are available for students from arts institutions
selected to perform a practice-based workshop.

The proposal evaluation is going to be on a rolling procedure up two
weeks before the conference. First evaluation by the selection committee
takes place on Sept. 4. Please send your proposal by e-mail (max. 200 words)
to: melissa.rands at elia-artschools.org
