INVITATION FOR THE OPENING OF
THE ÜBERGROUND SALON IN ROTTERDAM

dear sir/madam,

we are very happy to invite you for the opening
of the first cultural überground salon in
rotterdam.

überground is a new art space and transcultural
playground in rotterdam, open for the public
on a regular base for shows and salon events.

time: 18.30, saturday, 24 may 2003
place: ÜBERGROUND, gedempte zalmhaven 923, rotterdam
downtown rotterdam, near by the erasmus bridge, north side.

Mr. Doron Golan, art collector and artist
from new york city, usa.

Doron Golan-Goldstein was born in Haifa, Israel,
and has been living and working in New York since
1979.
Doron has worked in dv, computer animation and
media. Since 1998 he has been working primarily
with quicktime streaming.
Doron's works is concerned with cinematic and
digifi art presentation and engaged in
reproductions of contemporary social phenomenas.
Studied fine arts and comparative literature in
Haifa University, Israel, and fine arts at The
Free Academy of Den-Haag, and The Arts Student
League in NY.
One person exhibitions include: M-13 Gallery and
Moving Image Gallery in NY. Group exhibitions
include: American Fine Arts Gallery, The
Alternative Museum, and the New York Digital Salon.
Doron is the founder of Computer Fine Arts - a

magazine, which is published parallel with
our shows.

überground events deal with new media,
architecture and design, experimental art, theory,
performance, music, social issues, things on,
or over the edge.
