About the film - Short description

The story is about animals, dogs - mongrels who have no market value in a
human made world, and about people who are extremely brutal those those
animals.
Dog pounds and some dog shelters - asylums in Croatia are places of
brutality and torture, where they steal the money given for the animals by
the Government. They take the money for food, medical treatment and
euthansia in their pockets and kill the animals by hanging them on the wire
or even more brutal .... charging the government for all treatments. In time
we encountered a few people who help ease the suffering of these unfortunate
animals .... all of them were volunteers.

About the creators

Ivana Ozetski,
born on 07.06.1971 in Zagreb/Croatia
1998 - graduated on Academy of Applied Arts Zagreb,
painting- class Prof.E. Kokot
since 1994 - member of Croatian Union of Visual Arts
since 1995 - working on different short films and music videos
2002 - scenario for the documentary "Houdini - Your EX best friend"
as a painter she had 6 solo shows and more than 30 group exhibitions

Jadranko Pongrac
born 19.07.1972 in Zagreb
-graduated in Electrotechnical School in Zagreb.
1991 he started to work for Croatian Television. He worked for ten years on
10 film and documentaries in education and information section.
1993 he directed the musical "Lievs are covering Detroit", and several music
videos.
2002/2003 he directed the documentary "Houdini- Your Ex best friend"
supported by the Ministery of Culture of Croatia
