2005 will see Netmage's fifth edition.
This is an important goal for a festival that positions itself in an 
unstable and constantly changing field.

Netmage Festival is now inviting submissions for its INTERNATIONAL 
LIVE MEDIA FLOOR.
The projects, to be selected through the present call for entries, 
will be presented within the Live Media Floor section of NETMAGE.

An innovation, to be introduced for 2005, will be an attempt to put 
together a multi-system, spread among a range of spaces.
As in all previous editions,  there will be a MAIN STAGE, set up for 
a line up of performances.
Furthermore there will be a string of venues for INSTALLATIONS or 
SITE SPECIFIC projects, which could include the use of visual, 
cinematic or electronic and electro-acoustic sound devices.

The Live Media Floor is open to all comers who want to try their hand 
at the art of GENERATING and/or MIXING live sound and image in 
whatever shape or form.

To this end the participating candidates must provide
- A detailed list of technical elements involved
- A list of participating technicians
- A demo tape (VHS, DVD, CD-rom, cd audio)
- A detailed schedule for the presentation of the project

The projects selected by the Festival’Äôs artistic panel will make up 
the programme of events.

//////////// Participating Projects:
Those selected will be advised by the end of november, 2004.
Following selection the candidates will agree with the Festival the 
definition of the technical requirements needed to execute their 
project in performance.

Those selected will receive a contribution of ’Ǩ1,000 towards 
accommodation and daily allowance.
In addition, by agreement with the Festival, travel will be reimbursed.

The Festival will provide organisational assistance for the period 
those selected are required to be in Bologna.
