speed and the politics of musical recycling, editor Theo Ploeg talks to the
Amsterdamned people of ASCII on hacktivism, free internet and being thrown
out of buildings and also interviews the soccer player cum artist Raymond
Cuijpers on his new book. Robin Dessing reports on the real underground –
the bingo-bus from Utrecht to Amsterdam – and Xander van Aart hallucinates
as a result of his adventures in Las Vegas.

Finally, editor Bas van Heur reviews the new book Understanding Media Theory
by Arjen Mulder, the edited book Audio Culture and the latest Dutch
