I hope job postings are OK within the etiquette of this list.

i'm moving to london and my job at FACT is opening up. i just wanted 
to add a couple of things to the bog-standard advert below. FACT is a 
really unique place in terms of its engagement with international 
discourse and the local context. Liverpool isn't a city, it's a hotly 
contested notion. It has lots of secrets, and the more you look 
around, the more you'll find, from lesbian karaoke bars to 
Amsterdam-style coffeeshops to 80s video game stars. And with Capital 
of Culture coming up in 2008, this could be an opportunity for 
someone to do something on a grand scale. Go for it...

FOUNDATION FOR ART AND CREATIVE TECHNOLOGY

CURATOR (New Media)
£18-£22K

Based in Liverpool, European Capital Of Culture 2008, FACT is dedicated to
the support, development and presentation of artists' work in film, video
and new media.

We are seeking an inspired individual with extensive experience of curating
new media.

Working within the Exhibitions Team, you will be developing programming
ideas, commissioning artists and delivering across a range of exhibition
platforms, including galleries, offsite and online.

In addition to generating exciting and innovative programme, you will
possess the skills to convey your passion of new media to a range of diverse
audiences.

Pioneering film & video artist, poet, performer & architect, has spent over
40 years of his life exploring the relationship between body and public
space.  Since the 1980s this has led him to incorporate sculptural &
architectural forms and in recent years his work has moved into landscape,
