Dear friends and colleagues, game culture professionals and enthusiasts
I would like to bring to your attention an open call for contributions from LABinary newsletter.

We are currently developing a thematic issue on game culture focusing on different phenomena outside of mainstream computer games industry, therefore we welcome different non-exclusive contributions in form of texts (English and Croatian preferred, with German, Czech, Serbian, Bosnian, Slovenian and Italian as options for shorter essays). Additionally images and graphics are welcome if printing rights are cleared.

All accepted and edited material is to be published in next issue of LABinary website and newsletter (paper form) through Zarez bi-weekly cultural newspaper published in Croatia and distributed within a region and most capitols of EU countries. Previous issues included topics: digital recycling, manifestos, independent & open network structures, tactical media, revision of cyber utopias and networking as cultural practice. Concept of LABinary newsletter is to publish on interesting phenomena and different discourses from international media culture, while promoting local developments internationally (all newsletters were published bilingually English/Croatian).

Please submit your ideas/proposals by 30th of November and final versions (if confirmed by editors) by 20th of December.

For editorial team,
Zeljko Blace
