The First International Social Action Film Festival will be held at The 
Museum of Photographic Arts in San Diego, California February 20 - 22.

Included in the program is the short film on COLLISION II, the site- 
specific orbital debris constellation sculpture by Paris-based American 
artist Richard Clar featuring the music of French composer, Marc Battier.

Given the recent collision of two communication satellites in low-Earth 
orbit, this short simulation, done in collaboration with the U.S. Naval 
Research Laboratory in Washington, D.C., is extremely timely and 
particularly relevant to this serious environmental issue.
