as time passes...

 that's the Trouble with History (and Art History): "actual
events" get embedded/obfuscated in orchestrated/received
vernacular ideologies... and then it eventually/perhaps
becomes awkward//uncomfortable to re-align/re-purpose any
common sense of linear Truth...
