TAVA2018 announces its open call for light installations under the theme
RADICAL LIGHT. Artists and designers are invited to reconfigure spaces and
provoke radical changes. Radical Light aims to highlight social,
environmental, spatial and political issues. Let’s cast light on hidden or
unspoken topics, facts and places!

We are looking for five out-door and one in-door installations. The
festival encourages new and site-specific productions to raise awareness of
social and urban issues and, at the same time, offer a chance to perceive
light and/or space from a totally different perspective and receive a
positive emotional impact.

*Schedule*​:

Installations have to be ready by the evening of 24.10.
Festival dates: 25.-28.10.2018.

*Locations*

There are 6 locations: five outside and one in-door, please see the map and
photos.

Other locations can be proposed if there is a conceptual need for that.
However, sticking to the reasonable range of proposed sites is preferred by
the organizers.

*Budget*

- artist fee up to 1500€

- production and/or transportation up to 2000€ (bigger budgets are
negotiable)

- travel costs up to 400€ will be reimbursed

-accommodation will be provided by the organizers

-festival pass

*How to apply*

Deadline: 15.01.2018, midnight

Please submit the following documents:

- Recent CV

- Portfolio or link to the website

- Proposed work including images or sketches of the work

- Technical needs and technical rider, budget.

- 1-2 selected location(s)

- Information, if you would be ready to be a leader of an light-related
workshop or conference speaker (add the theme).
