Dear Spectrites,

I am happy to invite you to a live-streamed performance in BLEED Festival
2020.

BLEED: Biennial Live Event in the Everyday Digital is a new festival from
Arts House and Campbelltown Arts Centre.
Paeonia Drive is the feature project of BLEED between 3 August – 16 August.
Paeonia Drive is Angela Goh and Su Yu Hsin’s ongoing project existing at
the intersection of live dance,
installation and performance. A place based research project, it delves
into The Garden as a metaphor for the organisation
and control of nature, bodies, and power. In an age of mass surveillance,
machine vision, algorithmic orientation and planetary scale computation,
Paeonia Drive positions itself in the contemporary anxieties that sprawl
out around us, like paths in a garden with no escape.

Angela Goh and Su Yu Hsin will perform a live-streamed desktop
performance—Paeonia Drive: Navigation—
transforming their screens into a stage for sharing the Paeonia Drive
virtual world and online research.
Artists have constructed a 360 degree virtual environment housing the
digital components of the project,
including 3D plants and objects, 3D scans of the performer’s bodies, text
and hyperlinks to research materials.
