OPEN CALL: Full Spectrum Curatorship Programme 2026
For emerging and aspiring curators based in the Netherlands.
How do networks, algorithms, and digital technologies shape the ways art
is curated, encountered, and shared?
IMPAKT invites emerging and aspiring curators working with media art,
digital culture, or at the intersection of technology and society to
apply for the fourth edition of the Full Spectrum Curatorship Programme.
Taking place in Utrecht from September to December 2026, the programme
offers 12 selected participants the opportunity to develop their own
curatorial project proposal under the guidance of internationally
recognised curator-mentors. Through collective sessions, mentorship,
guest contributions, and peer exchange, participants will explore the
conceptual, critical, and practical dimensions of curating media art and
contemporary art shaped by digital technologies.
Confirmed curator-mentors include Annet Dekker (University of Amsterdam,
London South Bank University), Bart Rutten (Centraal Museum Utrecht),
Ine Gevers (Niet Normaal, Hacking Habitat), Paulien Dresscher
(Nederlands Film Festival - Storyspace), Doreen A. Ríos ([ANTI]MATERIA,
Centro de Cultura Digital), and Eva Fischer (CIVA Festival, sound:frame
Festival).
The deadline for applications is 1 July 2026, 23:59 CET.
