Ingrid Wiener
1942 – 2026

It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Ingrid Wiener.
She passed away on October 1, one day before her 84th birthday.

Ingrid Wiener was an artist, cook, singer, musician, actress, performer
and filmmaker – always in her own unmistakable and independent way. It
was an honour to have known and worked with her for so many years.

In May 2026 a short film with Ingrid Wiener was published by Gallery
Weekend Berlin on the occasion of our exhibition /Ingrid Wiener –
Gobelins, Films and Dreams/.

As always, her humour and charm shine through.

We will miss Ingrid Wiener dearly.
