This year’s <i>Summer Sessions</i> welcomed three single artists
and one artist duo to the V2_Lab to realize four new art
projects. We proudly present new artworks by Carina Hesper,
Constantijn Smit, Tom Verbruggen (aka TokTek) and Jon Stam &
Simon de Bakker. Mariette Dölle (Director of TENT.) will be the
critical respondent. The evening closes with refreshing summer
cocktails and a live sound performance by TokTek.<br>

V2_ presents three performances of <i>Unmanned</i> - a stage
performance for one man and one drone - by the US artist and
performer Jordan Crandall, co-directed by Bryan Santiago. The
performance includes live imagery from flying drones on the Witte
de With Street, linking the road with theater and technology and
keeping within the theme of this year’s Wereld van Witte de With
festival: Who owns the street? </font><font face="Verdana">It's
the first time <i>Unmanne</i>d will be performed outside the
United States.</font><font face="Verdana"> <i>Unmanned</i>
relates to the Arminius Debate Center’s Grote Droneshow (“The Big
Drone Show”), taking place on Saturday, September 15.<br>

<i>The Vibrancy Effect</i> e-Book originates from a closed expert
meeting organized by V2_ and Chris Salter in 2011, that
brought together artists, social scientists, natural scientists
and humanities experts to explore the question of what matter
does to us and the world, and to bridge the gap between
different disciplines conceptualizing and working with new notions
of ‘vibrant materiality’ (Jane Bennett) and ‘material
agency’ (Andrew Pickering).<br>

Symposium in Vienna. An evening with showcases and presentations,
moderated by fashiontech expert Valérie Lamontagne, marking the
end of a very successful exhibition. Over 25.000 visitors enjoyed
the Wearable Technology projects in the past 2,5 months.<br>
