mce_style="background-color:#ff9900;margin:0;">&nbsp;</h6>Belfast-born EMMA CAMPBELL is researching the impact of women's 
documentary photography in the UK as well as the various ideas, 
critiques, and modes of practice behind it. She attempts to show how the
 history of feminist collectives can be revitalized by means of 
documentarism and photography. Using her own practice on abortion as 
well as a woman’s photographic forum, she follows Women on Waves and 
Women on Web, sister organizations providing women with early medical 
abortion pills and advice where it is illegal. For the series Emma plans
 on film screenings and public discussions around these illegal, 
international interventions.<br><br>HOW TO SHOW? LAB FOR RESEARCH AND ART. – An exhibition series at the interface of practice based research,
institutions, and the public.<br><br>In spring 2014: Artist researchers from Finland, Great Britain, Northern Ireland, Poland, and Germany will
provide insights into the current status of their work. They will invite the public to participate in exhibitions, performances, lectures, and group
discussions. The events will take place during the course of four-week artist residencies. Forthcoming topics include investigations into traditional
vestimentary practices and socialist economies, cross-examinations of women’s collectives in photography and in illegal abortion practices,
ethnographic research on postcolonial computing in India, and philosophical investigations along Hannah Arendt’s ideas towards the concept of being

in the EU member state Poland lighter than an actually legal abortion in South Africa?<br>Sarah Diehl's documentary "Abortion Democracy" compares the
political, legislative and social developments regarding abortion in Poland and South Africa: <br>The comparison of these countries is therefore
suitable, because the laws of jurisdiction and public discourse in the 90s completely opposite in both societies developments have taken: Poland
criminalized in 1993 especially by the strong influence of the Catholic Church abortions completely.South Africa liberalized in 1997, however, the
termination of pregnancy by a review of the legal system in a discriminatory laws against minorities after apartheid and now owns one of the most
