... is not a law professional, so the translation is into everyday 
German. 

Now that sounds like a useful and doable target to set for our
lizenzen list: Start from Katja's and Peter's version, turn it into 
something juridically viable under German conditions, go over it with 
the GNU lawyer, and give it an official endorsement. Again, this is 
only a text translation, while the legally binding text would be the 
English language globally binding GPL.
