LEO_P audio-/visuelle installation für den öffentlichen Raum

"which is more musical: a truck passing by a factory or a truck
passing by a music school?" - john cage.


im rahmen des von gertrude moser-wagner initiierten projekts "taste
um die ecke" realisieren sabine maier und michael mastrototaro von
MACHFELD eine interaktive audiovisuelle installation mit dem titel
LEO_P. darin geht es den künstlerInnen um eine verdrehung und
umkehrung von zeit und ihrer abfolge ebenso wie um eine
ästhetisierung des alltags und die stete veränderung der leopoldstadt
(womit das projekt einen ortsspezifischen bezug herstellt).


für die radioversion dieser arbeit, benannt pr10, stellt das
echtzeitklangbild eines parks bei praterstrasse 10 den ausgangspunkt
dar. das landscape des parks, live aufgezeichnet, wird visualisiert
und dient als steuerungstool der audiovisuellen installation LEO_P.
der besucher bekommt die möglichkeit interaktiv an dem geschehen teil
zu nehmen.

pr10 versteht sich so als die summe aller auditiven präsentationen
des projekts taste um die ecke vom 13. juni.

as part of “TASTE UM DIE ECKE" - initiated by gertrude moser-wagner,
sabine maier and michael mastrototaro/MACHFELD realize an interactive
audiovisual installation with the title LEO_P.
a twist and reversal of time into an aesthetic appeal of the
day-to-day life and the constant change of the "leopoldstadt" (2nd
district of vienna) purchase.

for the radio version of this work - PR10 - the realtime soundscape
of the park (near by praterstraße 10/Vienna) is the starting point
for several various actions. the landscape of the park will be
visualized and serves as controlling tool for the audiovisual
installation LEO_P. the visitor gets the possibility to interact with
the installation.
