Filmabend mit Amie Siegel

»Ein fiktionaler Film. Ein persönlicher Dokumentarfilm. Psychoanalyse.

Film screening and discussion with Amie Siegel
»A fiction film. A personal documentary. Psychoanalysis. The boundaries between truth and fiction. A "talking-heads" film about "the talking cure." A film where the interviewer and interviewee are each other's objects. A remake. A film about chairs. A film where people perform themselves. A film about limits. A film that hates talking heads films. A relationship film. A film where two people are always struggling to understand one another: director/performer, interviewer/subject, analyst/analysand. A film with beautiful "movie music." A film-within-a-film. A film that undergoes therapy. A film constantly changing its term g terms, beginning again, enacting or parodying genre, while always pursuing its goal - how can there ever be empathy while authority is still in the world?«
