1) Final Call for Papers: International Conference on Gender in Educational Games and Gender Sensitive Approaches to E-Learning (July 6-8 2006, Krems)

The International Conference on Gender in Educational Games and Gender Sensitive Approaches to E-Learning brings together researchers in E-Learning, Gender Studies and Computer Game Studies in order to discuss new original research dealing with gender aspects in education and gaming. Deadline for extended abstracts: April 28.

2) Call for Applications: Master of Arts in Computer Game Studies

The scientific study of computer games and their influences on society, culture and business is a rapidly emerging field in academic as well as industrial research creating manifold possibilities for personal as well as professional career advancement. The main objective of this unique program in Computer Game Studies is to provide students with a rapid introduction to the field as well as to the network of experts driving it. Application deadline: June 30.

3) Tagungsankündigung: Be aware of the Media (21.-22. April, Salzburg)

Die Tagung "Be aware of the Media" versammelt österreichische ExpertInnen aus Wissenschaft und praktischer Medienarbeit, um sich dem Thema der Einbindung von Medien in Gesellschaft und Bildung sowohl aus historischer als auch aktueller Sicht anzunähern.
