[rohrpost] Bemerkenswerte Rede von Daniel Ellsberg über den Zustand der USA

Da ich Amerikaner bin, kann man mir wirklich nicht Anti-Amerikanismus vorwerfen.
Obwohl diese Rede vor allem an die amerikanische Öffentlichkeit gerichtet ist,
ist sie ebenfalls für den Rest der Welt von Interesse, auch im Sinne der
Shockvorbereitung.  Diejenigen mit Geschichtsbewußtsein werden Daniel Ellsberg
noch kennen. Ich hoffe wirklich, dass das nicht eintrifft.

"In a remarkable speech, Pentagon Papers whistleblower Daniel Ellsberg warns
that the United States will complete its slide into a “police state” if
President Bush goes ahead with a war on Iran. Referring to Bush’s steady
accumulation of power over the past six years, Ellsberg said, “a coup has
occurred” and would be solidified by the crisis of an expanded war in the
Middle East. To stop this, he urges government officials to live up to their
oath of office and defend the Constitution.

Editor’s Note: Daniel Ellsberg, the former Defense Department analyst who leaked
the secret Pentagon Papers history of the Vietnam War, offered insights into the
looming war with Iran and the loss of liberty in the United States at an
American University symposium on Sept. 20. Below is an edited transcript of
