*Aufruf zu Video- und Animationsarbeiten!*

*Das Open Source Festival ist eine Plattform für Zustände und Perspektiven
der
aktuellen Club- und Popkultur, die am 25.Juli mit lokalen und
internationelen
Künstlern in Düsseldorf vertreten sein werden.

Dieses Jahr hat das Musikfestival nicht nur seine Location zur
Düsseldorfer Galopprennbahn
 gewechselt, sondern widmet sich in diesem Jahr auch erstmalig der visuellen
Kunst.
Das Kuratorenteam Elektronentoto zeigt neben ortsspezifischen Installationen
auch Videoexperimente zum Thema

(fat)chance operations [zufallsoperationen und glücksspiel]

und freut sich auf weitere Beitraege!

Wir laden euch dazu ein mit uns und dem Open Source Festival die Eroberung
dieses Ortes zu feiern
und eure Videoexperimente an uns zu schicken. Die besten Beiträge werden
dann am Tag des Festivals
in der Elektronentoto-Kabinenschau ausgestellt und an den Aussenmonitoren
des Festivals ausgestrahlt.

Call for Submissions: ELEKTRONENTOTO-Video Art Contest

The Open Source Festival has been a platform for the current state and
perspectives of club and pop culture that
will be represented by local and international artists in Düsseldorf on July
25, 2009. This year the music festival
not only changed its location to the horse track in Düsseldorf but will also
be presenting visual arts for the first time.
In this context the curator team Elektronentoto will be showing
site-specific installations by Cologne artists
as well as video experiments in and around the topic of

 (fat) chance operations.

We invite you to celebrate the appropriation of this space with us and would
look forward to your submissions!
The results of this contest will be shown on the day of the festival.
