Klangnetz e.V. und die Berlinische Galerie präsentieren ein dreitägiges 
Festival, das die möglichen Schnittstellen zwischen Musik und 
Video/Projektionskunst unter den drei kuratorischen Schwerpunkten 
'Installation, Performativität, Narrativität' praktisch wie theoretisch 
beleuchtet.
Im Mittelpunkt stehen sechs intermediale Arbeiten, die von sechs 
überwiegend internationalen Teams aus Komponisten und bildenden 
Künstlern in enger Zusammenarbeit entwickelt und im Auditorium der 
Berlinischen Galerie zur Aufführung kommen werden. Indem sie Fragen des 
Bild/Ton-Verhältnisses, der Aufführungsdramaturgie, des Raumbezugs und 
der Bühnen/Publikums-Aufteilung ganz verschieden beantworten, werden sie 
auf je eigene Weise auf die drei übergeordneten Schwerpunkte Bezug nehmen.
Ergänzt und begleitet wird das Festivalprogramm durch drei 
Vortragsveranstaltungen, in denen Experten aus Theorie und 
künstlerischer Praxis sowohl allgemeine, in der Thematik begründete als 
auch spezifisch durch die präsentierten künstlerischen Arbeiten 
aufgeworfene Fragen reflektieren werden.

Klangnetz e.V. and the Berlinische Galerie present a three day festival 
exploring possible interactions between contemporary music and video art 
under three curatorial aspects: installation, performance, and 
narrative. The festival features six mixed media works which have been 
developed in close collaboration by six international teams of composers 
and visual artists, and which are complemented with four lectures by 
both artists and theoreticians that reflect on general questions derived 
from the curational themes, as well as from specific characteristics of 
the scheduled works.
