I am at a loss to explain the following:

which is the article accompanying the cover photo of the Sunday NYTimes
Magazine,
a proposal for a light-sculpture memorial to replace the towers,
by former wtc studio residents Paul Myoda and Julian Laverdiere

I can't resolve the usefulness of the gesture with its 
!instant desire to sell the dead back to the living
