The Black Poodle
Live at Tate Britain
Friday, 19th Sept, 2003
6pm-9pm
Free
The Black Poodle play a set flowing from analogue-electronic soundscapes to electro-core rhythmic structures and back with an added lyrical angle. All soundtracking visual collages by WhiteRabbit. Additional bizarre performance piece by the uncanny Lenny Lee.
This will be a first time for Tate Britain to be subjected to this degree of sonic fervor using such a blasting soundsystem. think squat party (but not quite) at .....the Tate
Not to be missed !!!
A flaking risk to those Turners.
The Black Poodle is a trio playing together almost only in live performance events since early 2002 often with the visual artist WhiteRabbit whose visuals evoke an intense experience. Every show they play has a slightly different flavour to it since there are no rehearsals as such.
Their debut studio album ' I can feel your pulse and it kinda freaks me out' is in mastering at the moment and is due out by Oct 2003.
