Dear All,

This is just a short note to let you know that I have recently been 
appointed the Consultant Director of the AV Festival of moving image, 
electronic music and digital art, in the North East of England.

The first AV Festival <http://www.avfest.co.uk/new/index3.html> was 
held in November 2003, organised by Tyneside Cinema in Newcastle, 
Middlesbrough Council, the University of Teesside in Middlesbrough, 
University of Sunderland and Sunderland City Council.

The second festival, AV.05, will be a dynamic showcase of digital 
culture.  It is scheduled to take place in October 2005. Like the 
first festival, it will happen simultaneously in three urban centres 
within the region: Newcastle, Sunderland and Middlesbrough.

I am going to be based in Newcastle, at the Tyneside Cinema 
<http://www.tynecine.org/>, and will also be working regularly from 
Middlesbrough at the University of Teesside.
