Paris, after the evening -
www.criticalsecret.com
of March 31st in
- www.lamaisonrouge.org/
and
- www.bookstorming.com/
The collective signed copies are for sale to the bookshop
Bookstorming/Maison Rouge
10 bis brd of the Bastille, 75012 (M ° Bastille) - and on inquiry on letter
or email.
The original photographic editions by Jean Baudrillard, Jacques Kanapa,
Dolorès Marat,
remain exposed until Sunday evening (in April 3rd).
One thousand thank you and excuse. One million thanks and apologizes!
Dear authors, dear artists, dear amateurs, dear curious,
So joyful that happy fews have come numerous to the foundation Antoine de
Galbert
this March 31st, to meet the collected artists and authors, so numerous
visitors as the room of conference could not contain us more than 50 (at
least being 60 inside but any triple and more outside to wait in the hall
till the end of the projection, or in the street - furthermore any left the
event and letting it to me know by email following morning that they could
not enter - as some authors who had to sign).
An evening which will remain memorable with one hour later than the term
foreseen by the projection, because the first to arrive began to
scatter in the very young museum, to discover it. Of course it is necessary
to say of the exhibition Ann Hamilton (that is is absolutely fascinating) -
her grandios installations making of all a poïesis of time and space as both
exhibition, projection, material and sound installation ; more than a
landscape it is a haughty region in
the real architecture which integrates the red house (three levels of
architecture since proper Art to the usefull museum) -. BUT for us, the task
complicated to collect our unknown visitors on the long way round, among the
others who walked rigthly along in front of mouths and drapes suspended of
Ann Hamilton.
However, the others delayed coming (globally, it is the custom for the free
demonstrations in Paris ; whatever is the hour in which we begin
it is necessary to count always between half an hour to one hour later -
provided that the closing hour of the place authorizes a backward
schedule. Right now the Red House currently closes its doors at 9 pm. The
following event to stay at the bookstore till 10 pm.
While the first part of the evening had finally begun, any new happy fews
persons were able to join the spectators then the others - the last ones
touching the threshold at 8:30 pm - had to wait in the
hall for the exit of the projection. What is formidable it is that
most of our guests making against bad luck good heart waited to us, there...
However, the jar and the sandwiches, suddendly on becoming convenient,
remained useless in the still deserted bookshop
- and later becoming almost unaccessful. Indeed, the signature foreseen from
8 pm
till 9 pm in the foundation took place only from 9 pm in the bookshop, which
almost cracked under the shock of the number (several persons did
not succeed in putting one foot inside among which some authors in spite of
an evident effort).
Most of the announced photos were very there, on walls or perched over: but
who could see them in such a "mess" really?
books(pounds), but who saw them?
But the worst of the best : my dear friends, what was not able to
take place in the shock wave for the
second wave of our guests - at least they would have the
pleasure to hear for lack of not having been able to attend
the session in the room of conference - they are the readings! Neither the
reading of the criticasecret monster nor that foreseen of Pierre Guyotat's
lal'angue as a perpetual invention of Franco-Arabic slang to be read in
homage by the writer Mehdi Belhaj Kacem, nor that of the two poems of
Hölderlin translated in French by Baudrillard in the filmaker's voice of
Vincent Dieutre, more a friendly germanic voice to read the original
version...
Here is! It is too much sorrow not to have been able to give you all that we
had foreseen for you this evening there, and at the same time, so much
enjoyment as you came more numerous still than you had announced it. But
trust in us please: it
is very true that if the first part on booking had taken place at
time and in the hour, it would not happen a disturbance for the
second part to both visitors with and without booking. At least according to
the programming.
These small dysfunctions due to the unpredictable availability of the
visitors for this evening certainly so asynchronous as anachronistic - that
any said me it hat to be considered making a success in the plan of the
litlle crowd
seen the size of places. All the younger adults to the biggest Elder were
present for equal participation: which honors us. (I believe that the
Bookstorming bookshop had never known such an invasion of authors and united
free amateurs at
one go).
Disappointment: it is so in Paris where there are hundred available places
and only fifty
persons to occupy them or has only available fifty percent missing of those
there who will be standing up, the outside or of return to them.
IN ANY CASE, DEAR VISITORS, ESPECIALLY, THE NEXT TIME, SUMMITS EVERYTHING TO
ARRIVE AT A TIME OF THE PROGRAM ON BOOKING: IT WILL ALLOW NOT ONLY YOU TO
ASSIST THE COMPLETE PROGRESS OF THE EVENING, BUT FURTHERMORE THOSE WHO
ARRIVE WITHOUT RESERVING AS EXPECTED FOR THE SECOND PART WILL BE NOT LESES
OF THE PROGRAM THAT THEY WAITED FOR BOTH OF US.
ANOTHER EFFORT AND ALL TOGETHER WE SHALL ARRIVE THERE, WE SHALL SUCCEED IN
BEING GRAND -being still a sort of exception as critical mass of
criticalsecret takes place in an autonomous unpredictable group:))!!!
YOU KNOW WELL THAT CRITICALSECRET ALWAYS MAKES WITH THE OTHERS, WITH THE
AUTHORS THE ARTISTS
THE INTERNET USERS THE VISITORS, BUT ALSO WITH THE PRESTIGIOUS HOSTS WHO
WELCOME US FREELY AND GENEROUSLY AND ALWAYS IN EVENT: BECAUSE US - ALL
UNPREDICABLE BOTH HAPPY FEWS ABLE TO GROW,
SUBLIMELY NOT CONSENSUAL AND JOYFUL SINGULARS...
BUT WHAT A DISORDER!
It is the risk of the beautiful life!
Still thanks to all and forgiveness!
Promised goodbye - we shall not be allowed surprise by the hour nor by the
possible number!
Lov
A.
