*Media-Space*: artist talk and discussion

The current financial crisis certainly marks a rupture, if not an end to 
the most recent form of neo-liberalism. What are the effects? Can we 
find different ways to think and reflect about these processes, which 
define the affected system? How do artists react to the complexity of 
this self-made global crisis?

These are some framing questions which the Media-Space curator-team used 
to choose art-works from within the field of new media. For the first 
time the curator team had been selected by an open Wand 5 e.V. competition.

At the End of October 2008 the Media-Space crew started the online 
curator blog-discussion at
