Moving Forest  London2012
London development workshops - Nov 26 to December 13, 2011

Aiming at performing Moving Forest , first 
presented at Transmediale.08 in Berlin, during 
London Olympics 2012, AKA the Castle in 
partnership with MA Interactive Media & Centre 
for Cultural Studies at Goldsmiths, University of 
London, Furtherfield, Space, MzTEK and Digital 
Programmes, the Victoria & Albert museum conducts 
a series of Moving Forest London development 
workshops this Fall/Winter.

Moving Forest is a 12 hour, five act, visual, 
sonic, digital, electronic and urban performance 
collectively realized by AKA the castle, a 
temporal performance troupe bringing together 
visual artists, writers, soundists, silk 
threaders, codedecoders, macromikro, boombox 
mass, mobile agents, wifi fielders and urbanites. 
12 hours of sonic, coded action map an imaginary 
Castle and camouflage forest revolt onto a given 
modern day metropolis.

November 26-27   [SPACE medialab]
OPEN HARDWARE HACK workshop with MzTEK
Modify,  remodel  and hack for generating revolting noise.

November 29 - December 1  [SPACE medialab]
Pure Data patching the narratives workshop -
Score, notate and live code  with Marc Widmer (Zurich)
and London PD - open source community - Ryan 
Jordan, Alejandra Perez Nunes, Xname, Dani VS ++++

December 2 -4 [Furtherfield at the Victoria and Albert Museum]
500 slogans workshop with Matthew Fuller and Graham Harwood
Join the plotting of  the Moving Forest Libretto -
read, recite, sing, shout, scream, murmur, memorize and burn the slogans .

December 9, 10 and 12 [Furtherfield at Finsbury Park and Space MediaLab]
With Isaac Marrero-Guillamón of The Militant 
city, Rachel Baker and Kayle Brandon of  Witches, 
Prophecy , Prediction and 3-KEYS and The 
Laboratory of Insurrectionary Imagination on TREE 
THOUGHTS: Strategies of ARTIVISME and 
PERMACULTURE, a taster.
