In “KRAFT|School of Energy” exhibition, UBERMORGEN.COM coin the issue
of “Energy”, that is getting more and more important all over the
world but especially in Japan after the “3.11, 2011” situation, to
broader public, especially to children who would carry the future on
their shoulder.
In present society, energy is produced in various ways such as by
fossil, nuclear and natural power, etc, The political, economical
situation of each country, and the interests of citizens reflect the
method and location of energy production.
In longer term, the awareness, and decision-making at every single
moment of each person surely affect the future of not only the
country, but also of the Earth or even of the universe.
The exhibition shows the unique modification of their intensive
researches on “Energy” in South Africa in the end of 2001, and in
Japan in February 2012. The exhibition space is set in the form of
school classes where visitors can freely spend time by sitting down on
chairs to watch videos, animations and online games. UBERMORGEN.COM ,
who have two daughters with the age 9 and 6, let children to start
conceiving the possible future of energy and society. Welcome to the
“School of Energy”!

 An artist duo based in Vienna (AT) and St. Moritz (CH) founded by
lizvlx and Hans Bernhard. Behind UBERMORGEN.COM we can find one of the
most unmatchable identities – controversial and iconoclastic – of the
contemporary European fine-art avant-garde. Their open circuit of
conceptual art, software art, pixel painting, large scaled
installations, legal art, Net.Art and Media Hacking transforms their
brand into a hybrid Gesamtkunstwerk. The computer and the network are
(ab)used and the permanent amalgamation of fact and fiction points
toward an extremely expanded concept of one’s working materials: i.e.
international rights, piracy, e-commerce, torture, democracy and
global communication. UM.COM seek to capture the present and the
future and amplify it, without preconceived opinion or vision.
“Ubermorgen” is the German word both for “the day after tomorrow” and
“super-tomorrow”.
