Coventry, 20-22 July 2016
Registration is open for the next Besides the Screen Network event,
Projection / Geometry / Performance, at Coventry University 20-22 July 2016.

22nd.
Keynotes: Charlotte Brunsdon (Warwick, UK); Nelson Brissac (PUC-SP,
Brazil). Other speakers include: Miguel Almiron, Marcus Bastos, Elena
Cologni, Richard Crangle, Amanda Egbe, Anthony Head, Yiyun Kang, Coral
Manton, Cecile Martin, Thi Phuong-Trâm Nguyen, Azadeh Nilchiani, Andréia
Oliveira, Claudy Op den Kamp, Adrian Palka, Felix Rebolledo Palazuelos,
Craig Saper, Dan Shay, Leila Sujir, Patrick Tarrant, Lynn Tomlinson, Ela
W-Walters, Mary C White and Su-Anne Yeo.
The event will be accompanied by an exhibition at The Box, FarGo Village,
Coventry. Works will be included from Apotropia, Aram Bartholl & Robert
Sakrowski, Carla Chan, Tobias Gaede, Lis Rhodes, Chiara Passa, and Patrick
Tarrant, as well as commissioned pieces by Brazilian artists Camille
Laurent, Mirella Brandi x Muepetmo, and Ricardo Carioba. See

Besides the Screen is an international research network that aims to
reconfigure the field of screen studies by refocusing it on the objects,
processes and practices that exist besides the screen. The project is
currently supported by the Arts & Humanities Research Council.
