About the WAG:

Due to our needs that seem to be increasingly handheld, WAG was born
on 2009! The Widget Art Gallery is a mini single art gallery room
fitting into people's pocket. Every month, the WAG hosts a solo
digital art exhibition related to its dynamic site-specific context.
So the WAG works both as a sort of kunsthall showing temporary
exhibitions and also as museum conserving all the past shows inside an
online archive that creates a permanent collection. WAG website

About the artwork:

“Unbalanced art” by Flavia Costanzi. January 23 - March 24 2019.
Sometimes it is difficult to find a balance between the arts.
Occasionally, classical and contemporary art may match each other,
but only apparently. In fact, when the surrealism breaks into this
delicate balance, everything crashes! This is what happens to “Amor
Profano” by Tiziano, which is in equilibrium on Duchamp's “Bicycle
Wheel”, due to the "Philosophic Lamp" of Magritte.
Flavia Costanzi is a student of Multimedia Art and Technology B.A.
course, at Fine Art Academy of Rome.
