*September 17th-27th 2025: /Space Shelter Earth/ to be
created in Bucharest.*
As part of Marginal */PS:Earth/* project, */Space Shelter
Earth-B-02/* will be created and exhibited in Bucharest at
Atelier 030202 from September 17th to 27th.
What would you be sheltering from?
What is (are) the language(s) spoken in your shelter?
Is a plant a shelter or do you need to shelter a plant?
Does the material of your shelter allow for cracks of
opportunity?
These are some of the trigger questions that the team
members will explore and react to, to collectively build
/Space Shelter Earth-B-02/ and provide their own individual
and collective interpretation of what those three words
—space-shelter-earth— can/could mean.
/Space Shelter Earth/is an imaginary, critical and poetic
alternative interpretation of past and current space
stations and habitats.
Conceived by artist Marcus Neustetter and curator Annick
Bureaud, the project is an evolving and collaborative,
nomadic and ephemeral, installation-artwork, each time
designed and built /in situ/ by an /adhoc /new team.
In Bucharest, under the thread "Of Nature, Concrete, Cracks
and Power", it will gather Ada Anghel, Sorin Badea, Liviu
Bulea, Annick Bureaud, Cosmin Ciobanu, Alexandra Costea,
Marcus Neustetter, Roxana Nicoarā, Alexandra Sofonea, Sabina
Suru, Andrei Tudose, and Vitaly Yankovy as team members.
